  1. Is there anything more desperate than that? I blackberry freezer for about a month or so ago that never caught on - the whole job for nothing.   2. There is not a product called Sure-Gel (sure if the spelling). It may be useful. Please refer to the section of the grocery store with supplies of canned goods.
